The Café at Morecambe Centre is located on the lower floor, and is ideal for smaller groups, meetings and social activities. It has 6 tables, seating for 28, with cutlery, crockery and glasses for 28. It is accessible by ramp, so there is no need to use steps, and there is a disabled toilet on site. Café hire is £12 per hour, plus a one-off administration fee of £15.
If you need catering facilities such as food preparation or serving refreshments, the adjoining kitchen is available to hire alongside the Café, for an additional £13 per hour on top of Café hire.

How to make a booking
- Check the calendar for a free slot – anything not marked “Private Booking” is available.
- Click “Booking Enquiry” to open the enquiry form.
- Tell us about yourself – your name, whether you’re booking for yourself or a group/organisation, and your contact details.
- Tell us about your booking – the purpose, number of attendees, and date and times.
- Tick the rooms you need – tick Cafe, and if you also need kitchen facilities, tick Kitchen as well. This is a separate room to select, not an automatic extra – see the note below.
- Review your details and submit. We’ll be in touch to confirm your booking.

The kitchen isn’t included automatically with the Cafe – it’s now booked as its own room. On the booking enquiry form, under “Rooms”, tick “Kitchen – available add-on when hiring the cafe” in addition to Cafe. If it isn’t ticked, we won’t know you need kitchen access.
